I’m using the raid channels for an second IDE drive. Jun 15, 6. Think it’s the 7vap I recommend putting the HDD’s on the promise controller and the optical drives on the regular channels. Thanks for the help and information people.

I say this beacause I have had more trouble getting the drivers for ide and raid than on any other driver installation. It’s a good board otherwise, but the RAID just does not work. So I manually changed the bus to mhz the maximum. I was just testing something; I don’t normally run Windows. I am having a similar problem with this motherboard.
That worked pretty well until it the sheer force of the fan caused it to break the 7avxp tape seal.
It is stuck on a mhz bus. All times are GMT There is a file that should install these for you.

I’ve just installed a raid driver and I’m ready to switch the drive from ide socket to a raid socket according to 7vax instructions in the manual, and plug another drive to the second raid socket. Nothing bad happened to it until a few weeks ago when the fan gave out. I want those extra mhz.
